Centovignali launches its winery events with a vertical tasting of Primitivo DOC Gioia del Colle
On 5 June 2026, Cantina Centovignali hosted the first tasting event in its new winery, as part of the international event Radici del Sud, dedicated to promoting the native grape varieties of Southern Italy.
The highlight of the evening was a vertical tasting of Indellicato – Primitivo DOC Gioia del Colle, featuring the 2010, 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2022 vintages. The tasting was led by wine journalist and expert Richard Baudains, together with Mourad Ouadda, Centovignali’s oenologist and agronomist.
Buyers, wine merchants and specialist journalists from Poland, Canada, Vietnam, Switzerland, Sweden, South Korea, the United States and the United Kingdom took part in a journey through the evolution of Primitivo di Gioia del Colle over time. The tasting confirmed the wine’s remarkable ageing potential and its strong territorial identity.
An elegant and international atmosphere provided the perfect setting for an event that marks the beginning of Centovignali’s programme of winery experiences, designed to promote the Murge area and its wine culture through high-level, engaging events.
